Tie-A-fly is geared towards the novice fly-tier and or fly-tying class student. Lots of potential tiers are intimidated about the prospect of having to by lots of expensive materials just to get started. Even some experienced tiers might just want the materials to tie a specific pattern but not want to buy a ton of bulk materials.
