This is the state of the art fly box that you have been hearing about. Fly Rod & Reel magazine called it a "quantum leap in fly box design". The Sierra Crest Lifetime Box is the box with the Bristle-Tack lining which is a hook holding system that incorporates a bristle like liner material that you just press (not pierce) the wire of the hook into. Tiny beads at the end of each bristle hold the hook wire. Bristle-Tack will hold hooks from #20-#2, and because it is porous will not hold moisture which mitigates problems with rusting hooks. As Bristle-Tack is not pierced by the hook (the wire of the hook is literally snapped into the grooves of the Bristle-Tack) it will last indefinitely. We've all gone through the lengthy, time consuming process of drying out soaked fly boxes after deep wading or dunkings in the stream. With this Bristle-tack lined Box, all you do is leave the flies in place and take a blow dryer to them. The Sierra Crest Lifetime Boxes come in three sizes from pocket size to streamer. agree that the Rose Creek Interchangeable Leaf Fly Box is
the most technologically advanced fly box ever! The Rose Creek box is
injection molded in of an almost indestructible polymer and incorporates a
very secure snap latch that is easy to open with a simple one handed “press
& pull” motion. Box halves are linked with a saltwater grade steel
hinge pin, locked in to keep it from sliding out.
Your customers will appreciate the Rose Creek Interchangeable Leaf Fly Box as a true investment. An interchangeable leaf system is built in to the box so that the fisherman no longer has to throw out the whole box when the ripple foam wears out. Reasonably priced replacement leafs are independently available, and are simple to snap in or remove. Your customers will want extra leaves for all of their different categories of flies. Two configurations of ripple foam, flat foam and the new patent pending Piranha Tooth hook holder leafs are available The patented Piranha Tooth hook holder leaf is designed to never wear out! Hook is simply pressed into the slit and grabbed by the offset teeth. Barbless is held as equally secure as barbed since “Piranha Teeth” grab the wire of the hook and not the barb. “Piranha Teeth” will hold a whole variety of hook sizes up to most saltwater sizes. Rusty hook problems are almost negligible. Ripple Foam insert leafs come in two groove widths to accommodate both large and small hooks. The wide groove insert is similar to most conventional fly box ripple foam where the new narrow groove ripple foam is perfect for hook sizes #18 and under.
